For an entry level nvg set up, this will definitely surprise you as far as functionality. With ir on with very little ambient light I am able to see clearly up 85 meters. I live in rural Indiana so 85 to 100 m is about as far you cam see here unobstructed. My only recommendation is to pair this up with a quality ir light and LAM. 10/10 would recommend. So far I have gotten the nvg 10s and the nvg50s. Both equally worth the money and definitely hit above their weight class

Very pleased with the product, had to get the FOV upgrade lens to go with it which I feel is needed since by itself the NVG-10 is probably 2x zoom out the box which is fine but I’m just very needy. Only issue now is the IR light gets blocked by the FOV upgrade lens about 70%. My get around for this is a IR capable head lamp that I use in combo if need be. Thinking about swapping the arm system for the other one they sell on the site. Just for ease of braking it down and storage purposes. Great product and night vision for the price though, highly recommend if you’re starting out.

Never got my package tried reachimg out goodnite gear and they were no help, do not recommend

This is my first night vision setup so I cant compare & contrast it to anything that could be better or worse, But it was affordable & I tried it out during night & I could for sure see even out to the distance,The different settings also are much appreciated & I am looking forward to seeing future products especially thermal.

I got mine some late last year . So it’s been just about a year of owning. I see they dropped the price a good amount haha! But, this thing is awesome. I swear from the best of my memory it’s on par with the PVS-14 I got to use in the Marine Corps. Minus the obvious IR light signature. ( which I’m pretty? Sure you can turn off). Anyhow, this NV is super fun to mess with. I’ve dropped it once accidentally from a decent height, and it took the impact like a tank. The only con I think is the swivel mount. Just needs some ingenuity really not a big deal. The bracket fits super nice in the old school ratchet mount I’ve got on my LWH. Definitely a great buy! Customer service is on point too!
