Helmet & Mount Compatibility

This can attach to the velcro field on the back of tactical helments. The battery pack can only power one NVG50 at a time. When running 2 NVG50s bridged, there is only space for one battery pack to be plugged in, not two.

I purchased a battery pack tactical helmet carry cover and fit perfectly. It does counter balance the NVG weight. I tested the system in total darkness room and after turning on the IR, I was able to see everything perfectly.
Turn on the IR laser and shoot without using any sights.

Seems like a good add on.

This external battery pack seems well made. Have had it in hard use yet. Just playing around in my field and house. Not a fan of the screw closure. I feel it may wear/strip out, if frequently opened and closed. Other then my untested thoughts this is great. It’s light weight, pretty small, with strong hook and look attachment. Solid add in!!

NVG50 is a solid option
Only issue was that I bought the wrong dual mount. The one for the NVG30 does not fit properly on the two NVG50s. It was my error. I bought the proper mount (not as cool looking) but it is very good for the NVG50. I am now waiting on two NVG30s to use the other mount. No other issues. I have a PVS14 and the NVG50 is a legit 90% solution and in some ways is better (not concerned with light damage).

This is fantastically suited for maneuvering at night as well as being able to shoot at a distance. I would definetely recommend pairing with an Ir laser. I'll be using this out at the MilSim - Lone Tree Milsim

This device is so hard to beat right now for budget digital night vision. I have both analog and digital and on some high moon nights I will even choose my NVG30 over analog because I like seeing color. It's super cool- extruded shoots

At this point for $500 you can not get a better night vision monocular. I have been absolutely blow away by this monocular and that has cast into light a lot of the shortfallings of competitor devices - Phantom Llama's Den
