Little big but good for airsoft.

It fits well with my airsoft gear, has basically no lag and super good fov. My only complaint is the arm isn't perfect but it works, it basically doesnt go down far enough for me. but this is amazing for you to get for airsoft night games especially milsims

just received my nvg 40s, and I gotta say I love them! they are super clear, and the ir illuminator does the job perfectly! by far worth the price!
that said, the reason for 4 stars and not five, are over three minor issues.
firstly, the package came with no assembly instructions for the mounting arm (had to figure that one out myself, even though it wasn't that hard after looking at the peices).
second, the buttons began to stick a bit after a while (no biggie, just a little wiggling and they were back to normal.)
and thirdly, (this is a manufacturing defect on the part of the helmet makers) the mounting bracket is just ever so slightly too small to fit the mounting arm.

all that said, I still ABSOLUTELY love the product. you guys did a wonderful job making night vision affordable for the average Joe like me.

This is fantastically suited for maneuvering at night as well as being able to shoot at a distance. I would definetely recommend pairing with an Ir laser. I'll be using this out at the MilSim - Lone Tree Milsim

This device is so hard to beat right now for budget digital night vision. I have both analog and digital and on some high moon nights I will even choose my NVG30 over analog because I like seeing color. It's super cool- extruded shoots

At this point for $500 you can not get a better night vision monocular. I have been absolutely blow away by this monocular and that has cast into light a lot of the shortfallings of competitor devices - Phantom Llama's Den
