Overall the NVG30 is an upgrade in pretty much every way from the NVG10, though the NVG10 is still an exceptionally good unit for the price and not far behind in most categories. NVG50 - Best Affordable Night Vision Goggles

The NVG50  is the successor the the NVG30 and is slightly more expensive but similar in many ways to the NVG30 and is a great option for those of you looking to get the best affordable night vision you can that will allow you to see very well in the dark. Budget Night Vision has come a very long way and this is a very exciting time to be in the exploring products in the space and we do think that this is currently the best budget night vision monocular available. NVG40 - Best Inexpensive Night Vision

For those of you looking to spend less than $200 to acquire some of the cheapest night vision you can, the NVG40 is a great way to go. It has a compact circular viewing screen designed to mimic a pvs14 and the low light performance of this device is probably the best of any sub $200 night vision device on the market including the Nightfox Prowl and the Night Operators Max.20 and we've written more extensively on that topic. Without a doubt we find this to be the best low cost night vision available.
